A little look inside the National Palace Museum of Korea
Travel
Review
Located right next to Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, the museum is dedicated to the history and culture of the Joseon royal court and the Korean Empire.
The exhibitions cover more than I expected, from the lives of Joseon kings and the royal family to court rituals, paintings, calligraphy, science, and the changes that came with the Korean Empire.
It’s a nice place to stop by if you’re already visiting Gyeongbokgung, but I think it’s also worth visiting on its own if you’re interested in Korean history and culture.
I’ll share a more detailed guide soon, including what to see, how to plan your visit, and a few things that are good to know before you go.
