Terms of Service

Last updated: September 10, 2026 · Effective for existing Members: October 10, 2026

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between The Nines (hereinafter "Company") and its members in connection with the use of the influencer marketing platform X30 (hereinafter "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  1. "Service" refers to the influencer-business owner campaign matching and related ancillary services provided by the Company through the X30 platform.
  2. "Member" refers to any individual who has agreed to these Terms, registered for the Service, and holds an account.
  3. "Business Owner" refers to an individual or entity that registers campaigns and recruits influencers through the Service.
  4. "Campaign" refers to a promotional collaboration listing registered by a Business Owner on the Service, which includes specific missions such as in-person visits, content creation, and the like.
  5. "Content" refers to all creative works, including photographs, videos, and text, produced by a Member in the course of performing a Campaign.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms)

These Terms become effective upon being posted on the Service or otherwise communicated to Members. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, and shall provide notice within the Service at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date of any such amendment. If a Member does not express objection by the effective date of the amended Terms, the Member shall be deemed to have consented to such amendments.

Chapter 2. Account

Article 4 (Eligibility)

  1. You must be at least seventeen (17) years of age to register for the Service. (Members aged 14 to 16 who registered under the previous policy retain their accounts; this change does not apply retroactively.) Because Korean civil law treats individuals under the age of 19 as minors, Members aged 17 or 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before applying for any Campaign.
  2. If the Company discovers that a user under the age of 17 has newly registered, the Company may immediately delete the account in question.

Article 5 (Registration and Authentication)

  1. Registration is completed through Google OAuth authentication.
  2. Members must provide accurate and up-to-date information at the time of registration. Provision of false information may result in restricted use of the Service.
  3. The Company reserves the right to decline or subsequently revoke any registration application.

Article 6 (Account Management)

  1. Each individual may create only one (1) account. If multiple accounts are detected, all such accounts may be suspended.
  2. Members are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and may not transfer or share their account with any third party.
  3. Members must promptly notify the Company if unauthorized use of their account is suspected.
  4. Members may request account deletion within the Service. A seven (7) day cooling-off period is provided after the request, during which the Member may withdraw the request and restore the account.
  5. After the cooling-off period expires, the Company will retain the Member's information in an inactive state for six (6) months for the purposes of dispute resolution and fraud prevention. The information will not be actively used during this retention period.
  6. At 187 days after the deletion request, the Member's account identity information (email, phone number, name, Instagram handle, Google identifier, date of birth) and personal information or free text in standard barter Campaign records are deleted, replaced with fixed withdrawal labels, or unlinked from the Member. A standard Campaign visit is not retained for five (5) years merely because a visit occurred. CP Store purchase records and only their linked CP use/refund ledger are isolated and retained for five (5) years from transaction closure; general CP records are not extended to that period, and JEONG records are deleted at the account-destruction point.

Chapter 3. Service Usage

Article 7 (Scope of Service)

The Service provided by the Company includes the following:

  1. Campaign browsing and application
  2. Campaign selection result notifications
  3. Content submission and mission management
  4. Other ancillary services as determined by the Company

Article 8 (Service Fees)

The Service is provided free of charge to Members. However, the Company may introduce paid services in the future, in which case the terms and conditions of such paid services will be announced in advance.

Article 9 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

  1. The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.
  2. The Company will provide advance notice of any modification or suspension. However, in unavoidable circumstances, notice may be given after the fact.
  3. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from modifications or suspensions of the Service.

Chapter 4. Campaign Participation

Article 10 (Campaign Application)

  1. Members may freely apply for Campaigns listed on the Service.
  2. Information submitted at the time of application (e.g., follower count, interests, self-introduction) must be accurate. Submission of false information may result in penalties.

Article 11 (Selection and Participation)

  1. Selection of Campaign participants is at the discretion of the Business Owner or the Company. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
  2. Selected Members must faithfully perform the missions specified in the Campaign (e.g., visits, content creation, posting).
  3. Selected members must submit content within 7 days of the visit date.
  4. Failure to submit within the deadline will result in an overdue status. Continued non-compliance may lead to restrictions on future campaign applications.
  5. Cancelling participation without a valid reason after being selected may also result in the same restrictions.

Article 12 (Penalties for Non-Performance)

The Company may restrict a Member's use of the Service in any of the following circumstances:

  1. Failure to perform the mission after selection
  2. Submission of Content that significantly deviates from the Campaign requirements
  3. Unauthorized breach of commitments made to the Business Owner (e.g., scheduled visit times)
  4. Repeated cancellations after selection

Chapter 4-2. Reward Points (CP)

Article 12-2 (Definition and Nature of Reward Points)

  1. The Company operates a Reward Points system (hereinafter "CP") that is credited to Members upon completion of Campaigns, successful referrals, completion of onboarding, or other activities designated by the Company.
  2. CP is an internal service reward and does not constitute a pre-paid electronic payment instrument under the Electronic Financial Transactions Act. CP may not be exchanged for cash, gift certificates, or any other monetary instrument.
  3. CP is non-transferable and non-inheritable; it may not be given, sold, or transferred to another Member or third party.
  4. CP that is not used within the validity period designated by the Company shall expire and be forfeited automatically. The Company shall provide advance notice of any validity period.
  5. If CP is found to have been obtained through fraudulent means, duplicated accounts, or abuse, the Company reserves the right to reclaim the relevant CP and restrict the account.
  6. The Company may modify the accumulation rates, usable scope, and policies governing CP with prior notice to Members. Changes will be announced at least seven (7) days in advance via the Service.

Chapter 4-3. JEONG — Trust Index

Article 12-3 (JEONG Trust Index)

  1. The Company operates a Trust Index called "JEONG" (score range: 0–99) that reflects each Member's reliability based on their activity within the Service. Members are assigned an initial score of 30 (thirty) upon registration.
  2. The JEONG score increases upon faithful performance of Campaign missions and receipt of favorable content evaluations, and decreases upon any of the following:
    • No-show at a confirmed Campaign visit
    • Unauthorized cancellation after selection
    • Failure to submit required Content within the stipulated deadline
    • Violation of these Terms or other service policies
  3. If a Member's JEONG score falls below a threshold set by the Company, that Member may be restricted from applying for certain Campaigns.
  4. A Member who wishes to dispute a JEONG score deduction may submit a written objection to [email protected] within seven (7) days of the deduction. The Company will review and respond within seven (7) business days.
  5. The JEONG score and any resulting restrictions are determined by automated processing. A Member may request that a decision significantly affecting them not be based solely on automated processing, and may request human review by emailing [email protected] (see also the automated decision-making provisions in the Privacy Policy).

Chapter 4-4. Invite — Referral Rewards

Article 12-4 (Invite Code and Referral Rewards)

  1. Each Member is automatically issued a unique invite code upon registration. This code may be shared to refer new users to the Service.
  2. When an individual registers using a Member's invite code, both the Referrer and the new Member each receive CP 2 (two Reward Points) immediately as a signup reward. When the new Member completes their first campaign mission, the new Member receives an additional CP 3 (three Reward Points). To prevent abuse, a daily cap of three (3) successful referrals (KST) applies to each Referrer. All amounts and conditions are subject to the Company's operational policy.
  3. The Referrer's username (public handle) of individuals who registered through the Referrer's invite code (hereinafter "Referred Member") will be made visible to the Referrer within the Service. By registering through an invite code, the Referred Member is deemed to have consented to this disclosure. Members who wish to opt out of this disclosure may request removal by emailing [email protected].
  4. If abuse of the referral system is detected — including but not limited to self-registration, bot-generated registrations, or coordinated fake account creation — the Company may reclaim any rewards granted and suspend the accounts involved.

Chapter 4-5. CP Store (Reward Redemption)

Article 12-5 (Redemption of Reward Points)

  1. Members may apply to exchange CP for products or services listed in the CP Store — tangible or intangible, including mobile gift vouchers, restaurant vouchers, and beauty or aesthetic services. Redemption requests are reviewed and processed manually by the Company.
  2. The CP corresponding to a redemption request is deducted at the time of application. If the Company declines a request (e.g., product unavailability or suspected abuse), the deducted CP is automatically refunded in full.
  3. Products and services are delivered or provided outside the Service through the relevant provider or delivery channel — for example, gift-voucher delivery channels (such as KakaoTalk Gift), restaurants, or beauty/aesthetic service providers — using the contact information registered in the Member's profile. Members are responsible for keeping their contact information accurate, and the Company is not liable for delivery or provision failures caused by inaccurate contact information.
  4. The minimum personal information necessary for delivery or use of the product or service may be provided to the relevant provider and delivery channel operator. A physical-delivery redemption requires a separate checkbox consent covering the recipient name, phone number, postcode and address, the delivery purpose, the recipients, and the retention period. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
  5. Once a product or service has been dispatched or provided, the redemption cannot be cancelled or refunded. The voucher phone number is deleted when the request is sent or declined. Encrypted physical-delivery information is deleted seven (7) days after transaction closure. The CP Store purchase record and linked CP use/refund ledger are retained for five (5) years from transaction closure as transaction and dispute evidence.
  6. CP acquired through fraudulent means may not be redeemed, and the Company may reclaim rewards and restrict redemption where abuse is confirmed.

Chapter 5. Content and Intellectual Property

Article 13 (Content Ownership)

  1. Copyright in Content created by a Member in the course of performing a Campaign shall belong to that Member.
  2. However, by participating in a Campaign, the Member agrees to grant the Business Owner a license to use such Content for promotional purposes (including reposting, editing, and advertising). The specific scope of use shall be governed by the terms of each Campaign.
  3. The Company may use such Content for service promotion, portfolio, and marketing purposes only until the content-licence expiry recorded for the Campaign, which is no more than twelve (12) months under the standard agreement. After expiry, the Content will not be used without the Member's separate consent.

Article 14 (Brand Usage)

Members may use the Business Owner's trade name, logo, and brand name within the scope of the Campaign. After the Campaign concludes, Members may not use such branding for commercial purposes without the Business Owner's separate consent.

Article 15 (Right of Publicity)

Where a Member includes their own likeness in Campaign Content, the Member consents to such Content being utilized by the Business Owner in accordance with the Campaign terms. Where the likeness of a third party is included, the Member is responsible for obtaining that third party's consent.

Chapter 5-2. Community

Article 15-2 (Community Posts)

  1. Members may create posts (text, images, etc.) on the community board. Copyright in a post belongs to the Member who created it.
  2. By posting, the Member grants the Company a license to store, display, and transmit the post within the Service for the purpose of operating the community. Posts are displayed publicly together with the author's username (public handle) and are visible to anyone who visits the Service, including non-members.
  3. Members must not post content that infringes the rights of others (including copyright, likeness, and privacy), contains false or exaggerated advertising or inappropriate medical claims, violates applicable law, or constitutes spam or prohibited conduct under Chapter 7. Responsibility for a post lies with the Member who created it.
  4. The Company may hide or delete posts that violate these Terms or its operational policies, and may restrict access to the community feature or take measures under Chapter 8 in cases of repeated violations.
  5. Members may edit or delete their own posts at any time.

Article 15-3 (Commercial Use of the Community)

  1. Members may share general information and voluntarily introduce, review, or recommend other businesses, products, and services without receiving economic consideration.
  2. When the following activity is excessive or repeated and uses the Community or another member-posting feature as a business-acquisition channel, the Member must consult the Company in advance and enter into a separate agreement:
    1. promoting or selling the Member's own profit-making business, soliciting customers, or directing Members to an external transaction;
    2. promoting a business, product, or service in exchange for money, goods, services, discounts, commissions, or other economic consideration; or
    3. for a business purpose, directly promoting or directing Members to a business or platform that competes with X30 or provides substantially similar influencer-recruitment, campaign-matching, campaign-operation, or creator-community services.
  3. In deciding whether activity is excessive or repeated, the Company considers its frequency and volume, repeated substantially similar posts, sales or recruitment links, discount or referral codes, contact details, calls to transact, direct-message solicitation, and the resulting disruption or confusion to Members.
  4. Content created to perform a Campaign provided through X30 remains governed by that Campaign's terms and does not require another agreement under this Article.
  5. Content covered by paragraph 2 that is posted without prior consultation and agreement may have its visibility restricted or be hidden or deleted, with the reason communicated to the Member. An isolated first occurrence does not by itself result in account suspension. Repeated intentional violations may result in a restriction on Community posting; account-level measures under Article 18 apply only when there is a separate serious violation such as spam, fraud, or system abuse. A Member may object under Article 19.
  6. This Article applies only to posting features inside X30 and does not restrict a Member's business activity or contracts outside the Service, or ordinary informational posts, reviews, or voluntary recommendations.

Chapter 6. Privacy

Article 16 (Protection of Personal Information)

  1. The Company protects Members' personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. The collection, use, provision, and management of personal information are governed by the Company's Privacy Policy.
  3. The Company may provide a Member's profile information to Business Owners for Campaign matching purposes. When a Member applies for a Campaign, the Member's username/ID, display name, SNS handle, and a safe (virtual) contact number or in-app channel are shared with the Business Owner, subject to separate consent obtained at the time of application; for visit-type campaigns the reserved visit date/time is also shared, and for delivery-type campaigns the shipping address, recipient name, and a delivery contact number are shared as necessary for delivery. The Member's real email address, direct phone number, and application notes are not shared; the Company mediates communication. A Business Owner that receives such information acts as an independent controller of that information from the point of provision onward.
  4. The Company processes Members' activity data — including CP balance, JEONG score, and referral relationships — for the purposes of Member matching and prevention of fraudulent use. Details are governed by the Company's Privacy Policy.

Chapter 7. Prohibited Conduct

Article 17 (Prohibited Acts)

Members shall not engage in any of the following acts while using the Service:

  1. Registering false information (e.g., follower count, area of activity, experience) or misappropriating another person's information
  2. Using another person's identity or account to register for the Service or apply for Campaigns
  3. Submitting duplicate applications for the same Campaign using multiple accounts
  4. Receiving Campaign benefits without performing the required mission
  5. Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or gaining unauthorized access to systems
  6. Using automated tools (bots, scripts, etc.) to access or use the Service
  7. Defaming or infringing upon the rights of the Company, Business Owners, or other Members
  8. Any other act that violates applicable laws or these Terms

Chapter 8. Service Restrictions and Account Suspension

Article 18 (Restriction of Service Use)

  1. If a Member violates these Terms or engages in prohibited conduct, the Company may, after prior notice, take any of the following measures:
    • Restriction of Campaign applications (for a specified period)
    • Suspension of Service use (for a specified period)
    • Permanent suspension and deletion of the account
  2. In urgent circumstances (e.g., system abuse, violation of law), the Company may take immediate action without prior notice.

Article 19 (Appeals)

  1. A Member who objects to a service restriction may file an appeal within fourteen (14) days of the measure by emailing [email protected].
  2. The Company will notify the Member of the review results within seven (7) business days of receiving the appeal.
  3. If the appeal is found to have merit, the Company will immediately lift the restriction.

Chapter 9. Disclaimer and Liability

Article 20 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. The Company does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of the Service.
  2. The Company shall not be liable for any interruption of the Service caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, system failures, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
  3. The Company is not obligated to intervene in disputes between Business Owners and Members (e.g., non-performance of Campaign terms, discrepancies in provided benefits) and shall not be liable for damages arising therefrom. However, the Company may provide mediation assistance to facilitate resolution.
  4. The Company shall not be liable for any decisions made by Members based on information obtained through the Service.

Article 21 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. Where a Member suffers damages due to the Company's fault, the Company shall be liable only for ordinary and direct damages.
  2. The Company's liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Member in connection with the Service. For Members using the Service free of charge, the Company shall be liable only in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. Where the Company or a third party suffers damages due to a Member's fault (e.g., submission of false information, violation of these Terms), the Member shall be liable for such damages.

Chapter 10. Miscellaneous

Article 22 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Article 23 (Jurisdiction)

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's principal office.

Article 24 (Notice of Amendments)

  1. When the Company amends these Terms, it shall specify the details of the amendments and the effective date, and provide notice via the Service or email at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date.
  2. For amendments that materially affect the rights or obligations of Members, notice shall be provided at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date.
  3. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms shall constitute acceptance of such amendments.

Article 25 (General)

  1. Matters not addressed in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customary commercial practices.
  2. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  3. These Terms are provided in both Korean and English. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between the two versions, the Korean version shall prevail.

Supplementary Provisions

Beta Testing Period

Chapters 4-2 (Reward Points), 4-3 (JEONG), and 4-4 (Invite) operate under a beta testing period from May 1, 2026 through May 23, 2026. During the beta, the Company may adjust CP accumulation rates, JEONG scoring criteria, referral reward amounts, and related operational parameters based on user feedback and with reasonable notice. These provisions transition to general availability on May 24, 2026, after which any further changes shall follow the notice requirements set forth in Articles 3 and 24.

These Terms reached general availability on May 24, 2026. (Revised: April 24, 2026 — Addition of Reward Points / JEONG / Invite chapters)

2026 Revision (material change): raising of the minimum registration age to 17, data-retention policy update, advertiser independent-controller clarification, automated decision-making provisions, and Korean-version precedence. In accordance with Articles 3 and 24, this revision takes effect after at least 30 days' advance notice to Members. Effective date: July 10, 2026 for existing members (following the June 10, 2026 advance notice); new registrations are covered from the date of publication.

September 10, 2026 revision: standard Campaign, content, CP/JEONG, CP Store transaction, and delivery-information periods were aligned with the implemented lifecycle, and the Community commercial-use rule was added. Existing Members receive 30 days' advance notice and the revision takes effect for them on October 10, 2026. New registrations and separately consented physical-delivery redemptions are covered from publication.
