Introducing Choco-Pie (CP) and JEONG: X30's New Reward System

초코파이(CP)와 JEONG 소개: X30 신규 리워드 시스템

Why Choco-Pie (CP) and JEONG?

X30 runs on trust and experience. We wanted a way to recognize creators who show up, deliver quality content, and build real relationships with Seoul's venues — and to give those creators tangible rewards they can use on the platform.

That is why we built Choco-Pie (CP) and JEONG (정).

These two systems are separate but work together. Choco-Pie, shortened as CP, is your reward balance — earned from campaigns and used inside X30 as eligible features open. JEONG is your trust score — a reflection of your reliability as a partner, which shapes how many campaigns you can run at once and whether you qualify for premium opportunities.

How CP Works

CP is a balance-based reward point. Think of it like credits you accumulate and spend within X30.

Earning CP:

Source Amount
Base campaign completion reward +3 CP
Additional Client reward (set per campaign) +N CP
Referral signup — you invite a friend Inviter +2 CP at signup; invitee +2 CP at signup and +3 CP after their first completed mission
Re-visit mission completion +N CP
Outstanding content selection +N CP
Special events and promotions Varies

When a Client sets a campaign reward, that amount stacks on top of the base +3. A campaign offering "+10 CP" means you receive 13 CP total upon completion.

Eligible CP uses as features become available:

  • X30 Store purchases
  • Re-visit mission booking
  • Premium platform features

Expiration:

CP earned through campaigns and other rewards has a 1-year validity from the date earned. The expiration system is not yet active in the app — all current CP balances do not expire. When X30 activates expiration in a future update, you will receive at least 7 days' advance notice before any CP becomes affected.

How JEONG Works

JEONG is your trust score, ranging from 0 to 99. Every new account starts at 30.

Your JEONG score determines two things: how many campaigns you can hold simultaneously, and whether you meet the minimum threshold for certain premium campaigns.

Concurrent application limits by JEONG:

JEONG Score Campaigns at once
80 or higher 4
60–79 3
40–59 2
30–39 1
Below 30 0 (full block)

Planned public-benefit exception: X30 plans to let selected public-benefit, volunteer, social-event, and open-mission campaigns sit outside the normal JEONG application gate. When a campaign is clearly labeled as this exception, you will be able to apply regardless of your current JEONG-based slot limit or minimum JEONG threshold. If the campaign also uses the planned X cancel group, it will allow free cancellation without a JEONG penalty.

JEONG goes up when you:

  • Complete a campaign (base +3, plus any additional JEONG amount set for that campaign)
  • Have an exemption request approved after a penalty

JEONG goes down when you:

  • Cancel after your free-cancel window closes (-5)
  • Cancel on the day of your visit (-10)
  • No-show without prior notice (-15)

Other serious policy issues, such as repeated mission non-completion or terms violations, may also affect your account under the service terms. This guide focuses on the active campaign completion, cancellation, and exemption rules.

JEONG and the Cancel Policy

The cancel policy is the primary way JEONG changes in practice. Every campaign on X30 has a free-cancel window assigned by the venue, and that window determines when a cancellation starts affecting your JEONG.

Free-cancel window Internal group
Anytime cancellation (planned) X
Up to midnight, 7 days before your visit B
Up to midnight, 3 days before your visit A
No free cancel — penalty from confirmation C

Cancel within that window and your JEONG is not affected. Cancel after the window, and the penalty matrix applies:

Timing JEONG
Within window 0
After window (not same-day) -5
Same-day -10
No-show -15

If a penalty is applied and the circumstances justify it, you can file an exemption request within 30 days. Six categories of reason are accepted — venue-side cancellations, force majeure, operational errors, personal emergencies, double booking, and campaign changes made without your consent. Approved exemptions fully restore your JEONG score.

Full policy details, scenario walkthroughs, and how to file an exemption are in the Cancel Policy Guide.

How to Earn

The fastest way to build both CP and JEONG is straightforward: complete campaigns consistently.

Beyond campaigns, you can grow your CP balance through:

  • Referrals — invite a friend to join X30 and earn CP when they sign up; your friend earns additional CP after their first completed mission
  • Outstanding content — if your content is selected as outstanding, bonus points are awarded
  • Re-visit missions — returning to a venue you have already visited can trigger bonus rewards

How to Use

CP is yours to spend in eligible X30 features as they become available:

  • X30 Store — purchase items directly using your CP balance when the store is open
  • Re-visit booking — some re-visit missions may require a CP booking fee
  • Premium features — unlock eligible platform features with CP
  • Future in-app features — use CP for features X30 announces separately

Your CP balance is always visible on your account dashboard. Spending never takes you below zero — the system rejects any transaction that would result in a negative balance.

JEONG is not spent. It rises and falls based on your behavior. Treat every campaign commitment seriously and your score will reflect that over time.

FAQ

Q: My CP balance went down but I didn't spend anything. What happened?
A: Check your reward history on the account page. The balance only decreases through eligible CP spending, a manager-authorized revocation for dispute resolution, or expiration once that system activates. CP has a 1-year validity from the date earned, but expiration is not active today (X30 will announce at least 7 days in advance before activation). If you see an unexpected drop in your current balance, contact support.

Q: I completed a campaign but my CP didn't arrive.
A: Check the campaign status. CP is credited at the mission_completed stage, after the X30 team has verified your content. If the campaign is still in review, the credit will follow verification. If the campaign shows mission_completed and no CP appeared, contact support with the campaign ID.

Q: Why is my concurrent campaign limit only 1?
A: New accounts start at JEONG 30, which allows 1 campaign at a time. Complete your first campaign to earn JEONG and unlock additional slots. The limit rises as your trust score grows.

Q: Does JEONG ever reset?
A: No. JEONG accumulates over time and does not reset. Campaign completions and exemption approvals are the main ways it rises today; late cancellations and no-shows are the main ways it falls under the active cancel policy. Other service-term violations may also affect your account.

Q: Can I transfer CP to another account?
A: No. General account-to-account transfer, sale, or gifting of CP is not allowed under the current service terms. If X30 opens a dedicated in-app feature for creator-to-creator support later, it will be announced separately.

Q: What happens to my CP if I close my account?
A: Account closure is handled individually by X30 support. Outstanding CP balance questions should be directed to the support team before initiating a closure.
