X30 Partner Guide: Your Journey Starts Here
X30 파트너 가이드: 여정의 시작
What It Means to Be an X30 Partner
X30 is not a discount app. It is a creator network built around long-term partnerships between Seoul's best venues and the creators who tell their stories. Every campaign you join through X30 is an opportunity to grow your portfolio, strengthen a brand relationship, and connect Seoul's culture to a global audience.
Before your first campaign, this guide walks you through two things every partner should know: who we are and how we work together.
Our Core Principles
These three principles define every interaction on X30 — from how campaigns are designed to how we handle disputes.
| Principle | What It Means for You |
|---|---|
| Respect | We trust your creative vision. Campaign briefs are starting points, not scripts. Your personal style is the whole point. |
| Growth | Every completed campaign becomes a verified entry in your professional portfolio. Consistency builds your JEONG score and opens access to premium campaigns. |
| Connection | Your content bridges Seoul's culture to audiences who have never been here. That reach has real value — to venues, to brands, and to X30. |
We are your experience partner, not your employer. You bring the creativity; we connect you to the right opportunities and make sure every collaboration is worth your time.
Cancel Policy
Each campaign on X30 has a free-cancel window set by the venue. The window determines how much advance notice you need to give if your plans change.
- Anytime cancellation (planned, Group X): public-benefit, volunteer, social-event, and open-mission campaigns — no JEONG penalty
- 7-day window (Group B): cancel by midnight, 7 days before your visit — no penalty
- 3-day window (Group A, most common): cancel by midnight, 3 days before your visit — no penalty
- No free-cancel window (Group C): penalty applies from the moment you confirm
The X group is planned and will be clearly labeled when available. Until then, active campaigns use the 7-day, 3-day, or no-free-cancel windows.
The free-cancel window is always displayed before you apply, and the application form requires you to actively consent to the policy. Your cancellation deadline is calculated and confirmed at that moment.
If you cancel after your window closes, a JEONG score adjustment applies. The penalty depends on timing: -5 for a late cancel, -10 for a same-day cancel, -15 for a no-show. Full details and scenario walkthroughs are in the Cancel Policy Guide.
When You Apply: Mandatory Consent
When you submit a campaign application, you will see a consent checkbox for the cancel policy. This is not optional — the application cannot be submitted without it. The consent timestamp is stored so there is never ambiguity about which policy applies to your campaign.
This consent is also what activates your free-cancel window. For legacy applications without a consent timestamp, free-cancel eligibility may not apply; if you believe a penalty was applied unfairly, use the exemption request process.
Penalty Exemption
If a penalty was applied and you believe the circumstances justify an exception, you can file an exemption request within 30 days of the penalty. X30 accepts six categories of reason, including venue-side cancellations, force majeure, operational errors, personal emergencies (with documentation), double booking, and campaign changes made without your consent.
If the request is approved, your JEONG score is fully restored. If it is rejected, you may file one more time — two chances total per penalty.
Full details on all six reasons, the 30-day deadline, and how to file are in the Cancel Policy Guide — Exemption section.
Influencer Protection
If a venue changes their campaign's cancel group after you have already applied, the system automatically protects you. It compares the deadline from your apply-time snapshot with the current live deadline and applies whichever is later — the one more favorable to you.
In practice: no venue action after you apply can make your cancellation deadline shorter than what you agreed to.
Content Usage Rights
By completing a campaign, you allow the campaign venue to use your published deliverable content for promotional purposes within the campaign terms. You also grant X30 and eXerty a non-exclusive right to feature that content for service promotion, portfolio, and marketing purposes for up to one year after the campaign ends.
- You retain full ownership of your content at all times
- X30 will credit your handle when reposting or featuring your work where reasonably possible
- You may request review or removal of specific uses by contacting support
This right applies only to content you publish publicly as a campaign deliverable. Private or draft content is never accessed without your explicit permission.
FAQ
Q: Can I participate in multiple campaigns at the same time?
A: Yes. The number of campaigns you can hold at once depends on your JEONG score — starting at 1 for new accounts (JEONG 30) and rising to 4 for high-trust accounts (JEONG 80+). Your current limit is shown on your account dashboard.
X30 plans to add a public-benefit/open-mission exception that sits outside the normal JEONG application gate, including both slot limits and minimum JEONG thresholds. Campaigns using that exception will be labeled separately.
Q: What happens if a venue does not honor the campaign terms?
A: Report it through the campaign detail page immediately. X30 reviews every report and intervenes with the venue on your behalf. Verified venue violations do not count against your partner record.
Q: How does JEONG affect my access to campaigns?
A: JEONG is your trust score (0–99). It determines how many campaigns you can run simultaneously and whether you meet minimum eligibility thresholds for certain premium campaigns. Completing campaigns reliably raises your score; late cancellations and no-shows lower it. A full explanation is in the Choco-Pie (CP) and JEONG Guide.
Q: Is X30 only for English-speaking creators?
A: No. X30 welcomes creators of all backgrounds living in or visiting Korea. Each campaign listing specifies the audience and language expected for deliverables — apply to the ones that match your strengths.
Q: Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?
A: Yes. A schedule change within your free-cancel window has no penalty and can be done directly in the app. Outside the window, submit a change request and X30 reviews it. If approved, no penalty applies.
